For whom?

A beginners course if you are already confident in the water. You will learn the different disciplines of freediving: static apnea, dynamic apnea, free immersion and constant weight diving. The Beginner Freediving Course introduces you to the secrets of the underwater world in a fun and relaxed way, with a strong emphasis on preparing you for safe diving. Course description

In the course you will learn the basics of freediving, how to practice single-breath dives safely, and what happens to your body when you hold your breath. By the end of the training, you will be able to reach depths between 12 and 20 meters safely and comfortably. During the course, we offer theoretical, pool and open water group sessions. All the necessary course materials (presentation, textbook) will be available for you. In the practical training, we will record your dives and evaluate them together. Upon successful completion of the exam, you will be issued an internationally recognised freediving card.

What will you learn?

Theoretical training:

  safety, freediving equipment

  breathing exercises and relaxation

Pool training:

  buddy system, rescue exercises

Open water training

  2-day course

  2x90 minutes theoretical education

  2x90 minutes pool session

  3x90 minutes open water dive

  AIDA 2 or Molchanovs Wave 1 international freediving card

  AIDA 2 pool or Molchanovs Lap 1 international freediving card (without open water part)

  basic swimming skills (200m continuous swim)

  min. 16 years of age (under 18 with parental consent)

  payment of course fees
