Most people refer to the film \"The Big Blue\" when asked how or why they got into the sport. I have seen the film, but for me the story started with a completely different motivation. <\/span><\/p>\n

As a PhD student <\/strong>I won a scholarship to study the physiology of freediving.<\/strong> Like any normal researcher, I started by experimenting on myself. First ,I practiced static apnea in a basin, then in radiology during ultrasound and MR scans. At the end of the experiment, the measured data confirmed that I had the potential, so I enrolled in a course and started to train regularly.<\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Already in the first months I felt that I was improving rapidly, and that I could stay underwater for longer and longer periods. It was only a matter of time before I found the Hungarian results of that time. I was surprised to see that there was not much difference between those numbers and my training results. After almost 1.5 years, it gave me new momentum and motivation.<\/p>\n
